ESSENTIAL PARFUMS
With more than 25 years of experience in the fragrance industry, Essential Parfums was founded with a decidedly rebellious spirit — a direct response to an industry that had lost itself in elaborate flacons, licensing fees, and bloated advertising budgets. The philosophy behind it is as simple as it is radical: only the fragrance matters. The house is based in the heart of Paris on the Boulevard Saint-Germain, and from there it works with the world's finest master perfumers — Quentin Bisch, Olivier Pescheux, Antoine Maisondieu, Dominique Ropion, and Nathalie Lorson. At Essential Parfums, each of them is given something rare in the conventional fragrance industry: a genuine carte blanche, free from constraints and limitations of any kind. Middlemen and traditional advertising formats are rigorously cut out — not out of frugality, but to ensure every last cent flows directly into the quality of the composition. Raw materials are sustainably sourced and procured according to Fairtrade principles, supporting local communities with stable wages. The alcohol used in the fragrances is derived from red beetroot. The glass flacons are clean and timeless, the paper packaging FSC-certified and fully recyclable. No dyes, no excess — Essential Parfums is so committed to its principles that even the colour of a fragrance can vary from one harvest to the next.
Essential Parfums believes luxury should be responsible. Refillable bottles, sustainably sourced ingredients, eco-conscious packaging, and transparent pricing are all part of the brand's commitment to creating beautiful fragrances with a lighter footprint—without ever compromising on quality.

MEET THE CREATOR
After more than 30 years in the fragrance industry, Géraldine Archambault founded Essential Parfums in 2018 to challenge the conventions of luxury perfumery. Her vision was simple: put perfumers in the spotlight, remove everything non-essential, and create exceptional sustainable fragrances at fair prices. Today, her passion continues to shape a brand where authenticity, creativity, and transparency always come first.
