Die Philosophy
Gegründet wurde die Marke 2009 von Julien Sprecher, dessen Liebe zu Parfums von seinem Vater weitergegeben wurde. Parfums de Marly, eine High-End-Parfümerie-Marke, zaubert mit seinen "Signature"-Düften, die kurz, markant, direkt sind, einen traumhaften Zustand herbei. Die Inspiration
Das muss man sich einmal vor Augen führen, dass es damals in Versailles mehr als neunzigtausend Blumen und Pflanzen in den königlichen Gärten gab. Sie alle dienten der Herrlichkeit des „parfumierten Hofes“. Keiner konnte den französischen Parfümeuren das Wasser reichen, in dessen Zentrum ein absolutistischer König stand, der seine Räumlichkeiten jeden Tag mit anderen Kreationen desodorieren ließ. Selbst die Brunnen im Garten trugen parfümiertes Wasser. Im Lustschloss Marly, so beschloss der König, sollte sich um das Wohl der reinsten Pferde gekümmert werden. Die Pferdezucht des Königs war so berühmt, dass der Tunesische König ihm acht Araber schenkte. Diese wurden mit prächtigen, großen und starken europäischen Pferden gekreuzt. Sie waren das Vorbild für die berühmten Skulpturen auf der Champs Elysee.

The story behind J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin
When Joachim Friedrich Schwarzlose opened a drugstore in 1856, Berlin was a big city. The cradle of the German fragrance industry is the company Spahn &amp; Büttner, founded in 1826. It supplies the fragrances from which the Schwarzlose family also created their bestseller until the first decades of the 20th century. Scents of the purveyor to the court find their way to the Forbidden City: Beijing's palace barn of the last cashier of China.
The idea
The series of new perfumes by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin includes creations that function like a mirror for modern Berlin. Designed for fragrance connoisseurs, connoisseurs and individualists, they are sovereign and self-confident. Without having to be loud, they are cosmopolitan and contemporary original and authentic, beyond any mainstream attitude.

In other words, they are eccentric, extravagant and dazzling like the city of Berlin. Their basis is provided by noble perfume oils in high concentrations. Bottle and packaging are united by a stylish and high-quality design.

The designers
The designer Lutz Hermann has been creating bottles for successful fragrances from brands such as Hugo Boss, Joop and many others for years. In 2012 he revived the German "Duft-Sleeping Beauty" Schwarzlose. Perfumer Véronique Nyberg is inspired by historical models for most fragrances and analyzes the content of old bottles in an elaborate process. She then creates perfumes that are reminiscent of the original in character and essential notes, but are at the same time modern and timeless.
The scents
So far, eight Eau de Parfums have been created. Five are based on historical classics and three are completely new creations, inspired by today's Berlin.
