It is not at all surprising that the idea for Acqua Alpes was born in the midst of nature.

The time? Summer 2012. and the place?

The breathtaking landscape of the Tyrolean Alps. Lara and Daniel hiked through this area, which has always had an irresistible attraction for them. They love the air, which is wonderfully fresh thanks to the glaciers, the pure high mountain water flowing through flowering meadows, and the intense blue of the sky. And on that hike, they began talking about how wonderful it would be to transfer those unique sensations to their fragrance creations. It could have been that the idea would have stayed there, in those mountains. But when Lara and Daniel returned to the valley, they decided to believe in their dream and make it their life's purpose.
The secret
Innsbruck's first perfume manufactory Acqua Alpes captures the scent of the Alps like no other. Because the indescribable feeling of vastness between the mountain massifs stems from the scent typical of the place, which is based on the clear water from Innsbruck. It forms the basis of all ACQUA ALPES fragrances. The label itself is also a testimony to this special company's attachment to its homeland. The mountain peaks of the aesthetic logo combine as if by themselves in a drop that, according to the founders themselves, reflects their essence. And the names? 2828, 2677... as arbitrary as they seem, they give a clue to the origin of the company. Sherlock Holmes would certainly have enjoyed the mystery.
The perfumers
Fragrance development at ACQUA ALPES takes place within the triad of founders. Daniel and Benjamin Deutsch are brothers and both studied business administration. Lara, a pharmacist by profession, completes the founding trio and supports the siblings with her know-how. From the first idea to distribution, everything is in the hands of the brothers. French-Belgian perfumer Dimitri Weber is the perfumer at the heart of the company. He carries on the family tradition, being the fifth generation of a perfumer dynasty that started in no other place than Grasse. When Joachim Friedrich Schwarzlose opened a drugstore in 1856, Berlin was a big city. The cradle of the German fragrance industry is the company Spahn &amp; Büttner, founded in 1826. Ruth &amp; Thomas Méaulle have always had a passion for high-end perfumes and gemstones. In fact, Ruth is a certified expert in diamond classification at HRD Antwerp.</span>

In 2015, while Ruth was working on her new jewelry line, she had misplaced a gemstone. Thomas later found the gem on her desk, hidden under a perfume box. This was a sign for them and together they founded the perfume house ORLOV - an abbreviation of the words "Our Love" ("Unsere Liebe").

Each fragrance in the Diamond Collection is inspired by one of the world's most famous diamonds.

With each fragrance, each gemstone has been given a new life. This was a fascinating process for Ruth &amp; Thomas as well as the most talented perfumers in the world. All fragrances were given three special ingredients: complete creative freedom, lots of time, and no marketing guidelines.

The legendary Place Vendôme, the heart, and soul of French jewelry, gives its name to a range of perfumes.

The Gemological Institute of America counts fewer than 30 red diamonds worldwide. The Place Vendôme collection draws inspiration from five of these dazzling, ultra-glamorous diamonds.

The brand Parfums de Marly draws its inspiration from the century that celebrated the height of French elegance: the 18th century, the reign of perfume. This stately and luxurious period is reflected in all the fragrances, the bottles and the brand philosophy.
The Philosophy
The brand was founded in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, whose love for perfume was passed down from his father. Parfums de Marly, a high-end perfumery brand, conjures up a dreamlike state with its "signature" fragrances, which are short, striking, direct. He was also inevitably influenced by the history of the Palace and Gardens of Versailles, near which he was born and raised.  The creative Parfums De Marly express a refined and contemporary lifestyle.
The inspiration
It is necessary to consider that at that time in Versailles there were more than ninety thousand flowers and plants in the royal gardens. They all served the glory of the "perfumed court". None could hold a candle to the French perfumers, at the center of which was an absolutist king who had his premises deodorized every day with different creations. Even the fountains in the garden carried perfumed water. In the pleasure palace of Marly, the king decided, the welfare of the purest horses should be taken care of. The king's horse breeding was so famous that the Tunisian king gave him eight Arabians. These were crossed with magnificent, large and strong European horses. They were the model for the famous sculptures on the Champs Elysee.
Finest ingredients
Parfum de Marly revives in bottles what was celebrated during this particular era. The elegance, the excess of beauty, the lavish feasts and the exclusivity of the breeding horses that Louis the 15th loved so much.
Naming
Another peculiarity of Parfum de Marly is that some creations are not only inspired by the horse breeding of Louis the 15th. They have even been named after the horses.

Sous Le Manteau brings back to life an ancient vision of love that whispers the memory between the pages of forgotten grimoires. When Olivia Bransbourg discovered formulas for aphrodisiac potions in a 19th-century pharmacopoeia, she founded Sous Le Manteau as a confidential perfume house. SLM is dedicated to glorifying the body through its most subtle senses. She commissioned Nathalie Feisthauer to recreate and sublimate five aphrodisiac formulas. In addition, she should free it from its temporality and reveal its timeless essence of love.

The result of her work is a collection of five unisex fragrances. These were recently awarded the Fragrance Foundation UK, Best Newcomer Award 2020. Five unique, exciting and addictive fragrances. All made in Grasse using the best raw materials available. Five expressions of yesterday's love transfigured by the fragrance language of today.

Today, Xerjoff has developed different fragrance collections for every desire. The first collection "XJ 17/17" is extremely individual and yet classic. The clou here are the handmade flacons made of rock crystal or glass. This was followed by the famous and coveted "Shooting Stars" collection in 2007, which Momo had decorated with a piece of the Sikhote-Alin meteor that fell over Siberia in 1947. They are considered experimental and are produced in very small numbers. "Casamorati 1888" followed with indigenous fruit, floral and herbal nuances. Finally, in "Oud Stars," Momo interpreted the fragrant incense wood with natural oud. Today, Xerjoff is an internationally recognized brand that is an integral part of the luxury niche segment. With small quantities and exquisite and expensive flacons Momo and Salvo give real specialties in the large perfume landscape.
