It is not at all surprising that the idea for Acqua Alpes was born in the midst of nature.

The time? Summer 2012. and the place?

The breathtaking landscape of the Tyrolean Alps. Lara and Daniel hiked through this area, which has always had an irresistible attraction for them. They love the air, which is wonderfully fresh thanks to the glaciers, the pure high mountain water flowing through flowering meadows, and the intense blue of the sky. And on that hike, they began talking about how wonderful it would be to transfer those unique sensations to their fragrance creations. It could have been that the idea would have stayed there, in those mountains. But when Lara and Daniel returned to the valley, they decided to believe in their dream and make it their life's purpose.
The secret
Innsbruck's first perfume manufactory Acqua Alpes captures the scent of the Alps like no other. Because the indescribable feeling of vastness between the mountain massifs stems from the scent typical of the place, which is based on the clear water from Innsbruck. It forms the basis of all ACQUA ALPES fragrances. The label itself is also a testimony to this special company's attachment to its homeland. The mountain peaks of the aesthetic logo combine as if by themselves in a drop that, according to the founders themselves, reflects their essence. And the names? 2828, 2677... as arbitrary as they seem, they give a clue to the origin of the company. Sherlock Holmes would certainly have enjoyed the mystery.
The perfumers
Fragrance development at ACQUA ALPES takes place within the triad of founders. Daniel and Benjamin Deutsch are brothers and both studied business administration. Lara, a pharmacist by profession, completes the founding trio and supports the siblings with her know-how. From the first idea to distribution, everything is in the hands of the brothers. The perfumes of their small manufactory are produced according to old recipes and perfected further and further. For this purpose, they use only natural and exclusive fragrance essences.

Perfumer Dimitri Weber
French-Belgian perfumer Dimitri Weber is the perfumer at the heart of the company. He carries on the family tradition, being the fifth generation of a perfumer dynasty that started in no other place than Grasse. He has been able to demonstrate his passion above all as Training Manager at Yves Saint Laurent Beauty. But his path has also led him to brands such as Jean Paul Gautier, Narciso Rodriguez and Tom Ford, among others. I got this fragrance delivered with my monthly subscription And I am already thinking about getting a full bottle. It's a really nice perfume: it's woody, smoky, dark... It has a lot of notes but the main ones are leather, amber, smoke and woody notes. It's perfect for night time and cold weather. It reminds me a bit of Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio but without the vanilla note (which is the main note in AA). I just would like the performance to be a bit better, but is not bad overall. It's a great great fragrance that I totally recommend :)

I got this perfume this month with my Yuniqu subscription and it was a great choice!! It's very woody and smoky, with notes of amber and leather among many others. It reminds me a bit to Absolute Aphrodisiac but without the vanilla note of this last one (which is it's main note), I suppose it's the leather note. It's very good perfume, I only would wish it would last a bit longer on my skin, but it's ok. I really enjoy it when I want to take a break from the floral, swert and fruity ones.

Artimitia, one of Onyrico's most popular and well-known women's fragrances, has a sweet-fruity orientation as well as floral and spicy influences. Artemisia Gentileschi, an Italian baroque painter, served as muse and inspiration for this glamorous fragrance composition. Ginger and mandarin release their sparkling aromas in the top note. Champaca, orange blossom, ginger blossom, and caramel steer the fragrance in an appetizing and loving direction in the heart. Candied ginger, amber, vanilla, white musk, and woody accents take the lead in the base and cleverly round out the overall effect of the perfume.

Onyrico

Pleasantly surprised but this fragrance. My partner is very enthusiastic about it as well. I guess we have to share it or order a full bottle. You get the sweet artemisia plant in here which is very unusual note but it is highly attractive.

Love this! If you like the citruss vanilla in Xerjoff's Lira, and Profumu Roma's Dulcis in Fundo, and the ginger note in Nishane's Ani and Hermes' Twilly, you will likely enjoy this too.

Ruth &amp; Thomas Méaulle have always had a passion for high-end perfumes and gemstones. In fact, Ruth is a certified expert in diamond classification at HRD Antwerp.</span>

In 2015, while Ruth was working on her new jewelry line, she had misplaced a gemstone. Thomas later found the gem on her desk, hidden under a perfume box. This was a sign for them and together they founded the perfume house ORLOV - an abbreviation of the words "Our Love" ("Unsere Liebe").
