What is behind the fragrance 402 by Bon Parfumeur?
The fragrance contains to a large extent the special note heliotrope. Originally from South America, this flower loves the sun. She follows her all day long, hence her name ("Helios" means sun in Greek and "trepein" means to spin). Headspace technology is used to capture the scent of the heliotrope. Head what? To understand this, you don't need a doctorate in chemistry, it's actually quite simple. Heliotrope is a very sensitive flower. It is not possible to obtain an essential oil scented by steam distillation. The heliotrope is placed under a glass dome. The odorants fill the air and are collected by an absorbent stem, which is then rinsed with a solvent to isolate the "scent". This mixture of flavours is then analysed by a machine that displays the proportion of the individual components

Ludovic Bonneton began his career as an Internet entrepreneur, where he developed an interest in unusual fragrances. He decided one day to make his own fragrances because no perfume company could meet his requirements. He gathered talented perfumers and desired to constantly rediscover and mix fragrances based on his mood. To feel like a perfumer, he devised an infinite number of fragrances with nine distinct color families.
