Perfume at work – yes or no?
You can argue about whether or not you should wear perfume to the office. For some, it’s an important component of their personal style and a way to feel comfortable and appear more confident. Others see perfume as more of a nuisance and worry that it may confuse colleagues.
Well-chosen perfumes can give the impression of professionalism and style, but it is important to make the right choice. A fragrance that is too intense or intrusive can attract unwanted attention or even scare away colleagues. As a general rule, it is important to be sensitive to the sensitivities of others so as not to disrupt a pleasant working atmosphere. Subtle, casual fragrances are best suited here.
